World Energy Day
To mark World Energy Day, Vector is doing an annual stocktake of how New Zealand's energy emissions are tracking, given the goal of net zero by 2050. While we have 83% renewable electricity generation, only 11% of all energy supply in the country is carbon free. Watch the Vector Lights show for the overview
  
Towards Transparency
More than 3/4 of the value of the New Zealand Stock Exchange is reporting on sustainability, according to a new report from Proxima. Calum Revfem also took part in the SBC Brilliant Basics reporting webinar last week and had these tips for getting started on reporting.

Zoo a world leader 
Wellington Zoo's sustainability leadership has been recognised with the inaugural World Association of Zoos and Aquariums Environmental Sustainability Award. Chief Executive Karen Fifield was in Bangkok  to accept the award.

Focus on reporting
New Zealand Post have published their sixth Integrated Report, looking at how they create value across six capitals. And the new sustainability report from BlueScope (NZ Steel and Pacific Steel) talks about scenario planning and carbon intensity targets in line with the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures recommendations. 
Tiaki: Keeping Aotearoa beautiful
Air New Zealand and Tourism Holdings Ltd are among a group leading the 'Tiaki Promise' campaign. As well as encouraging visitors to pick up their litter, it covers being respectful to Māori culture, preparing properly for outdoor activities, and safe driving.
