World Ecolabel Day
Thursday 25 October is the first-ever #WorldEcolabelDay, an initiative of the Global Ecolabelling Network and celebrated here by Environmental Choice New Zealand. Ecolabels play an important role to help businesses and consumers choose products that follow environmental best practice.

Mercury reckon you can fuel up your electric vehicle for the price of a burger - and have teamed up with BurgerFuel to give away a year's supply of Gourmet Mini meals, as part of their commitment to helping boost EV uptake in New Zealand.

Fujitsu Australia and New Zealand have released their first Responsible Business Report, and new associate member Ministry for the Environment's Annual Report provides insight into the complex relationships between New Zealanders and our natural environment. 
Decarbonisation and a just transition
At the Asia Pacific Energy Leaders’ Summit next week, Ministers Megan Woods and James Shaw will host a discussion of the economic transition faced by countries that are moving to decarbonise their economies. There's still time to register for the Summit, hosted by the BusinessNZ Energy Council and the World Energy Council.
