On Monday, CEOs, Directors and HR managers gathered to hear about the challenges and opportunities facing organisations for the future of work. Rob Campbell, chair of SKYCITY, Summerset Holdings, thl, and WEL Networks, has some advice for boards. And the event videos are now available.

Congratulations to AUT and Massey University, ranked 16th and 38th in the world respectively for impact on the Sustainable Development Goals according to the Times Higher Education University Impact Rankings 2019. Proud to have you as SBC members! 
Everybody's talking climate 
Watercare has released its climate change strategy, the Spinoff profiles three "startup" members including Flick Electric, and Otago Polytechnic shares what it's doing to reduce their emissions in the Otago Daily Times. And a big thanks to Minister James Shaw for plugging the Coalition at the Institute of Directors conference.

Sustainable Finance Forum takes shape
The Sustainable Finance Forum Leadership Group have met for the first time, including leaders from Auckland Airport, IAG, Westpac, Vector, and The Warehouse founder Sir Stephen Tindall. The Forum, the first project for the Aotearoa Circle, will design a roadmap to help New Zealand shift to a financial system that supports economic, social and environmental outcomes.
Celebrating 20 years of sustainable business
This May will mark 20 years since the founding of the New Zealand Business Council for Sustainable Development, the precursor to SBC. To celebrate, we're looking for stories of long-time members, or significant events in business sustainability in the last 20 years. Please contact Catherine Jeffcoat with any contributions.
