The Warehouse Group have just published their first sustainability update to share news on their work with electric vehicles, ethical sourcing, recycling for good, plastic bags and CEMARS certification. Do you produce a sustainability newsletter? Make sure you have SBC on your mailing list. 
Your ideas for better glass recycling
The Glass Packaging Forum provides funding for projects which will help improve the quality and quantity of glass bottles and jars available for recycling around New Zealand. Applications for the first funding round this year are open during February.
Making tourism more sustainable
Massey University convened a conference on sustainable tourism recently, and Professor Regina Scheyvens spoke to the NZ Herald and TVNZ Breakfast about what that would mean for New Zealand. 
Low emissions/waste procurement for Govt? 
MBIE is consulting on a new draft of the Government Procurement Rules. The suggested rules include supporting better conditions for workers, as well as low-waste and low emissions goods and services. Submissions close 5 March.
