Future of Work: Spark throws out the rule book
The world of telecommunications is changing fast. For Spark this meant the rule book for learning and development was having to be rewritten at least once every six weeks. As part of their move to being an agile organisation, their solution was to democratise L&D by creating their very own Netflix of learning to enable a culture of performance. Our Future of Work case studies have also been picked up by the World Business Council for Sustainable Development, so well done Rob!  
Smart EV charging put to the test in NZ first
Vector Limited and 120 electric vehicle owners in Auckland have launched a trial to figure out how to best charge EVs and avoid demand on the electricity network that could cause disruption at peak times, like after work. It's all about ensuring New Zealand has the infrastructure in place to support the rapid uptake of EVs in the next 15 years. Watch the video
Unilever aims for waste-free world 
Since 2010, Unilever has reduced its total waste footprint per consumer by 31%. It has made two new global commitments: to reduce its use of virgin plastic packaging by 50% by 2025, with one-third coming from an absolute plastic reduction. It will also help collect and process more plastic packaging than it sells by 2025. 
Auckland Museum leading diversity & inclusion

Building smaller landfills
By weight, the construction and demolition industry is one of the largest waste producers in the country. But this could change, thanks to a new construction and demolition ecolabel specification launched by the New Zealand Ecolabelling Trust to help reduce the amount of waste going to landfill.
