Alistair Davis

Over his 40-year career with Toyota New Zealand, Alistair Davis has been instrumental in many of the business decisions that have led to Toyota enjoying unrivalled market leadership for the past few decades.

Alistair was in senior management roles when Toyota became part of the New Zealand landscape with its famous Crumpy and Scotty television commercials. Celebrating 31 years market leadership in 2018 he, at the same time, introduced a new agency-based business model knows as the ‘Drive Happy Project’.

In recent years, Alistair has been a champion for delivering sustainable business solutions. A long term member of the Sustainable Business Council where he has just stepped down as chair after 4 years and 2 terms.  Alistair is one of the founding signatories to the Climate Leaders Coalition and is currently on the Massey University Council.

Alistair lives on a lifestyle block in the Manawatu with his wife Claire and is involved with a range of Christian activities at a local and national level.
