CLC 1st anniversary special edition
and report-back from Embark

On 24 July, the Embark event at SkyCity saw over 250 people come together to share solutions for reducing carbon emissions. Catch up with the action in these collected tweets, and we heard from participants in the 2nd episode of Sustainability Radio
Climate Leaders Coalition turns one
After Embark, we celebrated the first anniversary of the Climate Leaders Coalition statement and the anniversary snapshot with a panel discussion reflecting on the year, and the launch of a new pledge aiming to limit warming to under 1.5°C. Waste Management is among those companies that have already signed up to the new pledge, saying “The pledge aligns with the work we are already doing and shows how serious we are reducing our emissions for future generations.”
Sustainability Radio Episode Two
This week we hear from attendees at Embark, we have Alison Herft’s report from the Sustainable Brands conference, and Robert Perry talks to thinkstep about foresighting. Download the episode
