Low-carbon menu, storytelling survey and transport milestone  
To celebrate World Environment Day, and ahead of the Embark event on July 24, SKYCITY's The Sugar Club have developed a low-carbon menu with Enviro-Mark Solutions and WWF New Zealand. Stuff wants your feedback on how it can improve its coverage of climate change. And Auckland Transport are celebrating 100 million passenger trips on public transport this year with free transport on Sunday 23 June. 
Girl bosses and skills to beat job-killing robots
As we dig further into the future of work here at SBC, we're following the Productivity Commission's blog with interest - set up to generate ideas and promote debate for their Technological change and the future of work inquiry. In the latest post, John MacCormick reflects on the submission from Alexia Hilbertidou, CEO and founder of GirlBoss NZ. 
Celebrating the people who celebrate diversity
We're stoked to see Air New Zealand, Downer, IAG, Lion, Spark, Vector, Vodafone, and brand new member Fisher & Paykel Healthcare nominated as finalists in the 2019 Diversity Awards NZ™, as well as Catherine Smith, Auckland Museum and Shane Morgan, Watercare Services for their personal leadership. Ka mau te wehi! 
Ethical Leadership in a Changing World
Victoria University of Wellington are offering a free on-line course Ethical Leadership in a Changing World, from the Brian Picot Chair in Ethical Leadership. The course launches on 3 July and runs for 6 weeks. It features contributions from Abbie Reynolds and Kirk Hope. Enrolments are open now.
SBC meets Al Gore
We're really happy that a team from Enviro-Mark Solutions, and Oxygen Consulting are attending the Climate Reality Leadership Training in Brisbane as we speak. Follow them on Twitter (EMS) and Linkedin (EMS and Oxygen) for updates and we will have a report-back next week. 
Reporting corner
You know it's winter when the first crop of sustainability reports are ready for harvest. And the first one to land is a beauty - the OCS ANZ Sustainability report for 2018. A big development is that OCS, based in New Zealand, have now included their Australian team in a combined report. Email us to have your report featured here. 
New member profile: F&P Healthcare
Fisher and Paykel Healthcare have been CEMARS certified since 2012/13 and are committed to managing and reducing the impact of their operational emissions. They participate in sustainability disclosure programmes including CDP, and are listed in the Dow Jones Sustainability and FTSE4good indices.

National Volunteer Week
Is volunteering important to your organisation? The theme this year will be "Whiria te tangata – weaving the people together”. Promote your involvement with banners and other resources from their website.
