Sustainability Radio - latest episode

Partnering with community was the theme of our Annual Council Meeting. We have also published the first SBC case study on the partnership between Lion and Graeme Dingle Foundation, and have a few more in the works. L’Oréal supports work on child obesity
Dr Yvonne Anderson has been awarded the L’Oréal UNESCO For Women in Science 2019 Fellowship for her work with weight issues in children, and particularly Whānau Pakari, a community-based, family-centred programme.
SBC represented on APEC Committee
Malcolm Johns, Chief Executive of Christchurch International Airport, and SBC Advisory Board member, is one of the business leaders appointed by the Prime Minister to represent New Zealand business on the APEC Business Advisory Council.  
What do we know about climate change risks?
The Ministry for the Environment is working on NZ's first National Climate Change Risk Assessment. The first phase includes an online survey of risks and consequences and you are invited to contribute - responses are needed by 2 December. 
Future of Work priorities released 
The Future of Work Forum - a partnership of Government, BusinessNZ and the CTU - has released their Strategic Assessment looking at some of the issues that will impact NZ over the next 30 years, and the steps required by Government, business and unions to create opportunities from the changes.

James Walker of Porter Novelli was on TVNZ Breakfast last Friday talking about the findings of In Good Company, the new research from Commissioned by the Sustainable Business Council, Porter Novelli and Perceptive on how New Zealanders assess the sustainability of brands.
