More on SBC and Covid-19
Helping to keep NZ working
Whilst SkyCity Entertainment Group has not been immune to the impacts of Covid-19, having to reduce and reshape their workforce to meet immediate and future needs, they have also been focused on sustainable employment outcomes. Partnering with other NZ organisations and industry leaders they have launched two new initiatives - Keep NZ Working and Go With Tourism - to support employers and displaced workers from the tourism and hospitality industry.
Building sustainable business practices into Covid-19 recovery
This is a time where urgency for action also offers opportunities to re-imagine how we might do things differently. Recognising the vital role CFOs and financial leads play as custodians of value creation, Deloitte has published a blog with practical tips to help build sustainable business practices into Covid-19 recovery.
Creating magic in the zoom
In our guest blog, Andrea Thompson from Catapult talks about this month's Sustainability Leadership Programme (SLP) workshop and about just how powerful virtual events can be for participants. We'd love to hear how you are adapting to virtual. You can share your story with us here.
Collaborative ground-breaking research
Oxygen Consulting, in conjunction with the Sustainable Business Council, the Sustainable Business Network and Auckland University of Technology will launch a ground-breaking piece of research later this month investigating the role of sustainability professionals in New Zealand. You'll find more details about the launch below and we do hope you can join us.
