Waiting for the green light | On 3 December, New Zealand will move to the new Traffic Light System for managing Covid-19 in the community, and vaccine passes will be needed to access many places. The website clearly explains the framework, and government also provides support and guidance for workplace vaccine requirements. Native forests good for carbon | New research by Tane’s Tree Trust scientists proves the value of native reforestation to carbon sequestration. While most previous research has focused on radiata pine, the research found the difference between well-managed planted native forest and radiata pine was closer that had been thought. | | | |
