NZ represented at US-led climate crisis conference | Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern has been invited to attend the Leaders Summit on Climate on 22-23 April, a virtual global conference hosted by US President Biden. It reconvenes the US-led Major Economies Forum on Energy and Climate, which brings together 17 countries responsible for about 80 percent of global emissions and global GDP. | | | |

Open Letter against Modern Slavery | Deloitte, World Vision and Trade Aid are campaigning for the government to commence an inquiry into implementing supply chain transparency legislation. An Open Letter has been presented to Minister Wood with 95 NZ businesses already signed, and they are continuing to gather signatures for another meeting with the Minister in June.
