Insights on Sustainability Professionals survey opens  

Oxygen Consulting, in collaboration with Auckland University of Technology, SBC and the Sustainable Business Network, has launched the 2022 Insights on Sustainability Professionals research survey, and are calling for all sustainability professionals in the industry to take part. New guidance on wellbeing

The WBCSD and Deloitte have launched a new resource 'Healthy People, Healthy Business: Embedding a culture of employee health and wellbeing' to support the global business community in protecting workplace wellbeing.

Toyota eyes hydrogen opportunities

Toyota New Zealand is looking to advance the use of hydrogen technologyusing a hydrogen fuel cell system developed by the Toyota parent company in a partnership with Emirates Team New Zealand.

Ravensdown scholarship win for young farmer

Lincoln University farming student Tim Sheed is the 2022 recipient of the $5000 Ravensdown Hugh Williams Scholarship, which he says is a step towards his goal of helping farmers grow crops in ways that are sustainable and consider the environment.

SLP scholarships available

Scholarships are available for non-profit leaders who want to join the 2022 Sustainability Leadership Programme, run by Catapult in partnership with SBC. The scholarship application period and early-bird registration offer both close on 25 February.

Feedback required on Environmental Reporting Act

The Ministry for the Environment is seeking feedback on proposals to strengthen the Environmental Reporting Act 2015. Have your say until 5pm on Friday 18 March.

The Environmental Defence Society and SBC’s Climate Change & Business Conference will now be held 19 – 20 September, 2022. We recognise that the key to successful action is networking in-person, rather than virtually, and all steps will be taken to adhere to Covid-19 guidelines. Please register to join us for this key event if you haven’t already.

Registration is open for Deloitte and SBC's CFO Climate and and Sustainability Programme, starting 2 March. The course is designed to help CFOs understand how they can take the lead in managing climate change risk, and empower and enable them to take action. More information.
