Moving Beyond Diversity Supporting a fair, equitable and inclusive transition to a low emissions, climate resilient economy means advocating for organisations to build authentic, inclusive workplaces that foster a sense of belonging. During 2021 SBC held a series of three workshops for a design thinking process to develop scalable initiatives to foster a greater sense of belonging within our workplaces. Participants develop and tested experiments across a 5 month period. In our final workshop we heard from six organisations who shared their experiments and learnings to enable others to adopt their solutions. These solutions were in the following areas: Inclusive & transparent leadership, inclusive recruitment, supporting staff to bring and celebrate their whole shelves at work, inclusive meetings and courageous conversations.
